Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of getdesign.ai (the "Service"), run by getdesign.ai ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to them.

What the Service is

getdesign.ai is a library of design references. Each design is shown with a preview and a DESIGN.md file: a written description of its colours, type, spacing, components and the reasoning behind them, intended for use with AI coding tools.

Accounts

You can browse and copy a limited number of DESIGN.md files without an account. An account lets you copy more. You are responsible for your account and for keeping its password safe.

Plans and payment

Paid plans remove copy limits and unlock designs marked with a crown. Subscriptions are billed in advance for the period chosen (yearly or quarterly) and renew automatically until cancelled. Lifetime access is a single payment with no renewals. Because the content is delivered immediately, payments are non-refundable; see the Refund Policy. Prices are shown in US dollars and may change for new purchases; an active subscription keeps its price until it is cancelled.

What you may do with a DESIGN.md

You may use any DESIGN.md you have copied in your own projects, commercial or not, including projects for clients. You may not resell, republish or redistribute DESIGN.md files or the library itself, or use the Service to build a competing library.

Third-party designs

Previews show work made by other people and companies, credited to them. A DESIGN.md describes a design language; it does not include anyone's logo, copy, imagery or code, and copying it does not grant rights to those. getdesign.ai is not affiliated with the sites shown. If you own a design and want it removed, write to us and we will take it down.

Acceptable use

Do not scrape the Service, share an account, bypass copy limits, or use the Service for anything unlawful.

Changes and termination

We may change or discontinue parts of the Service. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms. You may close your account at any time.

Liability

The Service is provided as is. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

What we collect

If you create an account: your email address and, if you sign in with Google, the name and email Google shares with us. If you buy a plan: your payment is handled by Stripe; we receive confirmation of the purchase, not your card details. As you use the Service: which designs you copy (to apply copy limits) and standard server logs.

What we use it for

Running the Service: signing you in, keeping your copies, enforcing copy limits, billing, and answering support requests. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

Cookies and storage

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and browser storage to remember your copies and preferences. There are no third-party advertising cookies.

Who else sees it

Our hosting and database provider, our authentication provider, Stripe for payments, and Google if you choose to sign in with Google. Each only receives what it needs for its job.

Your rights

You can see, correct or delete your data by writing to us. Deleting your account removes your email and the record of what you copied. We keep purchase records as long as the law requires.

Refund Policy

All sales are final

getdesign.ai sells digital content that is delivered immediately: as soon as a payment goes through, every DESIGN.md on your plan can be copied. Because of the nature of digital products and this immediate delivery, we do not offer refunds for any plan, including yearly, quarterly and lifetime purchases, whether or not you have used it.

By completing a purchase you agree to receive the content straight away and acknowledge that you lose any right to withdraw from the purchase once delivery has begun.

Cancelling a subscription

You can cancel a yearly or quarterly subscription at any time from your account. It stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for and is not renewed; no partial refunds are given for the time left. Lifetime access is a single payment and never renews, so there is nothing to cancel.

Billing errors

If you were charged by mistake, for example twice for the same purchase, write to us and we will correct it.
