Get Design AI is a Chrome extension and website. The extension copies a user-selected element from a webpage into HTML, CSS, Tailwind, or JSX. The website handles payment and login.
What we collect
Extension (on your device)
The extension reads the element you choose to copy (markup and styles on that page) so it can generate code. That processing happens on your device. It stores your settings (for example component format and style format) and your login session locally in Chrome storage. When you click Copy, the generated code is written to your clipboard.
Account, auth, and payment (our website and servers)
If you buy or log in, we collect the email address you use at checkout and for login. We send a one-time verification code to that email to confirm you have a valid purchase. We store that you are a paid customer and a session token so the extension can stay signed in.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number. Stripe’s privacy policy applies to card and billing data.
What we use it for
To provide the product: generate copied code, remember settings, confirm you paid, sign you in, send login codes, and handle refunds or access revocation.
What we do not do
We do not sell or rent your data. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending. We do not collect browsing history, location, health data, or keystrokes. Copied page content is not sent to our servers unless you later choose a feature that explicitly does so.
Sharing
We share data only with processors needed to run the product (for example Stripe for payments, and our email/hosting provider to send login codes). They may process data only for that purpose.
Permissions
The extension uses Chrome permissions to run the picker on the tab you start it on, save settings and login state, copy code to the clipboard, and contact our backend to check that your email is paid and to verify login codes.
Retention
Settings and session stay on your device until you remove the extension or sign out. Purchase and email records are kept as long as needed to provide access, prevent abuse, and meet tax or legal requirements. You can email us to request deletion of your account email, subject to those requirements.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top will change when we do.
